When I began studying climate there was no single place to go to learn everything. Further, I quickly realized climate was only one of a variety of overwhelming interconnected threats facing us. The information needed to understand these scenarios is spread over the internet and requires extensive searching. I have visited hundreds of places to find & sort these materials.
I am proud of this work. It is hugely informative, well organized and easily navigable. It’s hard to know what is completely true, but this body of work is Directionally Accurate.
This project changed me. In 2023 I recognized that Florida was a Bad Idea. I sold my house and moved north.

In December 2025 Jim Catano and I started a meeting to talk about our future. We want to bring folks together to discuss what we think will happen and what our choices are. We reckon these are hard discussions.
